The appearance of the sky and the things that are not seen everyday mark this book as a key title…The lore behind these phenomena is vast & most is based in superstition. Meinel’s book removes the mask and lays down the science behind things only seen occasionally. Sunset is a particularly good time to engage in Luminous Landscape style photography… The various stages the sky cycles through as darkness falls provide ample creative opportunities.

Ice crystal phenomenon and all of the glories and dogs are covered plus volcanic twilights.

Understanding ‘Why’ is a thing that drives the contents of TheDancingGoats Library…This book is a must have title…
