Jake Gander is a detective for Storyville. He cracks down cases in fairytales. In this book, he helps Red Riding Hood with her grandmother that looks odd. He uses clues and evidence to figure out that her grandmother is actually a wolf. This book will help students see how to take clues, facts, and evidence to figure out the mystery. I would be a great way to start an activity for figuring out mysteries.
This was sucha n excitingly different take on the story we all know and love, Little Red Riding Hood. Completely different point of view. It was so different. I'm afraid this this story probably means more to me than it would to a child from a future generation.
This story takes a different turn on fairy tales. Jake is a detective in Storyville , a place where fairy tales don't always have happy endings. Jake must now rewrite them! We follow Jake as he takes on the case of little red riding hood, who has been feeling off about her grandmother.
