Dickey is, as always, brilliant in his descriptions of settings, people, and especially intimate scenes. This book not as saucy as other works and at times difficult to follow sequence. This is the first Dickey work that I was able to set aside. Normally, I can't put his novels away until I finish them.
A loyal fan, I eagerly await publication of "Waking with Enemies" due out this week. Can't wait to find out which woman bought the contract. For me, the "happy ending" would be for Gideon and Arizona to hook up permanently but that's not Dickey's style.

looooved it. I'd initially thought I would end up hating it, however, I ended up doing the exact opposite. I wasn't sure how I would feel about, seeing as his writing has changed so much over the year, but my taste must be changing because this is exactly what I've been missing. I'm so damn tired of the predictable boy meets girl. Falls in love. Break up, get back together happily ever after stories. It took reading this book for me to figure it out. Kudos Mr. Dickey. I can't wait to read the sequel. 4hrs 42mins
I thought this book was very exciting and suspenseful to read. Dickey had done it again; captured my attention by his excellent writing style. It was suspenseful, saucy and unpredictable...just like I like it!
Loved this series. International scenes, crazy sex, great dialogue, suspense, intrigue, murderous femme fetales......would make a great movie series.
Usually I can read an EJD book in 1 day but it took me a minute to get into this one. But once I did, I couldn't put it down. I really loved this book. If you are a TRUE EJD fan, you will read it. It's different then his other books. I can't wait for Walking with Enemies.
A fun sexy read. Eric knows his stuff, and Gideon is hot! If you want a fun book to take you mind off your stresses this is it.
It'll leave you hanging in the end, because there's a sequel, Waking With Strangers.

Definitely different writing, didn't really care for the ending. Guess I'll have read the sequel.
