My first impressions are the novel is uneven, picking up themes and characters and then dropping them quickly, not abiding to any overall structure. Christine is an admirable person although I don't any person quite like her. Her character could've used more depth, she loved the north but never explained why.
Book 6 of the "Canadian West" series, continuing the story of Elizabeth & Wynn Delaney and their family in Alberta, Canada. I REALLY enjoyed these stories, the characters, the author. Again, these books present the gospel and Christian living clearly and naturally in the course of conversations, the characters are realistic and honorable, and the stories are satisfying.
Christine tries to decide what to do after a broken relationship, with the North and a young man calling to her heart.
