De entre la gran cantidad de libros publicados sobre coaching, éste destaca por su sencillez y la claridad con la que explica esta metodologÃa. John Whitmore fue uno de los primeros autores en introducir este concepto surgido en el deporte a un público más amplio dentro de la dirección de empresas. El modelo GROW que explica en el libro es un buen punto de partida para iniciar un proceso de coaching tanto grupal como individual. Muy recomendable.

Sir John Whitmore has received the President's Award from the International Coach Federation in recognition for his work in the coaching field. He consults and lectures widely on coaching and team working for business with Performance Consultants International (www.performanceconsultants.com). He has written five books on sports, leadership and show more coaching, of which Coaching for Performance is the best known, having sold over 500, 000 copies and been translated into over 20 different languages. After running businesses in the UK, Switzerland and the US, Sir John founded Inner Game Ltd with Timothy Gallwey, which has been highly influential in introducing new approaches to sports and business training. He began his career as a professional racing driver, driving for the highly successful Ford team at Le Mans and winning both the British and European Saloon Car championships in the 1960s. show less
