The book showcases hats from different countries, revealing how they reflect people’s occupations, lifestyles, and identities. Whether it’s a traditional bowler hat from Peru or a unique head covering from another corner of the world, “Hats, Hats, Hats” invites readers to appreciate the rich tapestry of global headgear!
There are hats. Lots of hats. Hats from all around the world. Shows a good breadth of hats in each different category (hard hats, play hats, sun hats, etc.). Lots of excellent photos of people from around the world too. Not sure the clown pictures needed to be included.

In this book written by Ann Morris and Photography by Ken Hyman, the reader gets to hear about all different kinds of hats around the world. The sentences are very simple. Sometimes the pages just have the word "hats!" while on other pages the author uses longer, more descriptive ones like"Scarves and hoods make hats too," and "Ten gallon cowboy hats". The photographs are great and so obviously from all around the world. In the back the author and illustrator an index to show each photographs key details. For example, the index describes page 6 as "JAPAN: This woman's straw hat is made of woven rice fibers which are readily available in a country that produces large quantities of rice." This index provides a piece of information to the show more reader that they may not have known before reading. Overall I liked this book because it can be great for a range of ages because of the simple pictures and captions along with a fact Index! show less
Hats Hats Hats is a cute little book about the different types of hats worn all over the world, different styles of hats that serve different purposes. this exposes kids to new forms of clothing they might not have been familiar with yet and gives them a name. This book is good for ages 3-5 and i could see this as a theme for a preschool. Source: Tacoma Public Library System
A hat can say a lot about where you come from, what you do, and who you are. You see, there's a lot more under a hat than just a head! With dazzling full-color photographs and an index.
This book demonstrates the different types of head wear and hats from all different types of people and different cultures. This gives students an idea of hardhats and the importance, sun hats importance, snow hats, and many more.
