JenniferRobb Another wholesome romance
JenniferRobb Both books involve meeting an entertainment star on whom the female character has a crush. Both relationships develop into love in real life.
JenniferRobb Both have a main character who is a musician and who questions what the true meaning of success is. Both have a romance angle.
JenniferRobb The girl in NFY has a similar experience to the couple in TD in that she has a boy she has a crush on as a youngster whom she gets the chance to meet as an adult. The idea of a forever love is prevalent in both books.
JenniferRobb The romance between the couple in each book, along with the world of music are similar.

I read an advance copy of this book.
Most girls have a crush on an entertainment star at some point in their young lives. What happens when she gets to meet the object of that crush? Will he be what she imagined him to be? This is what happens to Karen, albeit many years after her teen years.
In the advance copy, I felt the road for Karen and Chris getting together was remarkably free of potholes. There were also some plot points that began and then were seemingly abandoned without explanation. (Hopefully those have been corrected in the now published version.)
