I LOVE this book. Even when you can't save time by carrying on your bag because the airlines have forbidden carry-ons altogether or imposed a ridiculous weight limit, it's still worthwhile to pack small according to Gilford's methods. You can travel all over Europe for a month or more with a tiny amount of luggage, people can give you rides in those tiny European cars, and you can feel absolutely smug standing in airport check-in lines.

It had some very useful suggestions on packing lightly, which I would like to implement. I borrowed it from the library & think I need to purchase it so that I can use it while packing.
