this book is WILD. it says some absolutely wack shit abt qigong, internal alchemy, the history of buddhism in china, relationship bw buddhism and qigong; e.g. it claims that standard buddhism samadhi meditation merely cultivates a "paraconsciousness" which could potentially vanish, taking all that cultivation away w it!!! wtf!!!

bonkers as it may b, it introduces some thrilling concepts that seem to transform the boundaries of qigong and redefine its religious terrain
