The bad boy. The fuck up. The thief. That was me. Once a king, now a wanderer. I'd thrown the best parts of me away, over and over again. I was reckless. Still am. I'd been exiled. Twice. I did my time. I've cleaned up. Well, sort of. I got plans. Yeah, good ones. Then I ran into her. A bolt of lightning-startling, unsettling, breathtaking, out of reach. The woman I once scorned years ago is now the woman I can't live without. I need what I didn't think I'd ever need again. I want and want and want. Torture. Sort of second chance.
Other woman and man drama, some intimate scenes.
The couple don't really get together properly until the end.
Continues enemy plot through series, including history revealed through the series so best read in order.
HEA. As in HFN I assume the couple will feature in any future books. ( )

This is a very difficult book for me to rate because some parts did not hold my interest, and some parts I loved. I did like the main role characters, but Finger kinda stole the show for me. He’s a beast. Roar! The writing is intelligent, thought provoking and most everyone I know gave it five stars so I do highly recommend reading it. Chances are that you will love it. ( )
