This short story is a continuation of Elizabeth and Darcy’s story from Pride and Prejudice. Elizabeth Darcy is ready to deliver their first child, and we see Elizabeth during her labor and Darcy as he anxiously waits for good news of a safe delivery. It’s a pleasant way to spend a half hour for P&P fans.
This was a really sweet short story about Darcy and Elizabeth that takes place during the day when Elizabeth gives birth to their first child. The author does a good job of showing Darcy's fears about losing Elizabeth as well as the love that they share. This was a fun quick read that I am sure to read again.
This isn't badly written, but there's basicaly no story, it's just like an extra chapter to pride and prejudice that didn't make the final cut (and with good reason).
It's literally the birth of Elizabeth and Darcy's first child.

A short story set a couple of years after the Darcys have married and their first child is about to be born.
A very quick read but enjoyable.
