Rose Boy

I obtained this ARC from the author in return for an honest review, and although I never heard of this author before I'm glad I took the chance. He had loved her for so long and tended to the roses below her window reverentially. He was just the son of the guardner, knew they could never have a future as he had nothing to offer her, but he loved her and would always would. She called him Rose Boy and soon everyone called him that. Then, Raltenor the Conquer invaded the castle with his War Dogs and killed her. Early, before the Dogs arrived is father threw him down a sewage pipe that lead from the castle sacrificing his life so that his son may live. Twenty-four years later, Rose Boy became a Master in The Guild of the Mask bent on show more avenging his love and his father and he planned to kill the murderer no matter what happened to him as he knew once he killed Raltenor he could be with his love as the War Dogs would surely kill him, but he would be at peace. show less
