Ivy Malone the “invisible senior” is one of my favorite characters. As each book in the series progresses she takes control of her life and throws off that cloak of invisibleness. Her bump of curiosity definitely leads her into unplanned and dangerous situations.
I really enjoyed this installment of the Ivy Malone mysteries! Steady pacing, good character development, and an intriguing mystery all paired together for a fun read (that at times kept me up at night - not just to find out what happened next, but because it gave me the shivers!). A sure success!
Closer to 2.5 stars. Decent read as a distraction while riding exercise bike. A bit simplistic. Not a hard mystery to figure out. The characters are not that interesting. I have another book by the author that I will probably read to give her another chance but probably wouldn’t seek her out again.
