The author introduces a new generation to Kurt Cobain, the icon who sparked a cultural and musical revolution, by drawing on his experiences with him and his family. This book does not gloss over the struggles that plagued Kurt Cobain such as addiction and mental health issues.
The story of Kurt Cobain was very interesting, but the sentences warning about the problem of drugs and what the drugs were seemed like something for a children's biography, not a teen biography, since they were so simple.I think those few sentences in the book might just irritate the teens.
