What cute and beautiful book! This rhyming style text builds on itself as you progress through story. Great vocab and illustrations!! Contains a letter to the readers and a feature glossary with all the animals in the book. I would use this book to teach rhyming, seashore exploration and discovering tidepools. Grades 2-5
Follow a little girl as she explores the beach and tidepools. She looks at all the creatures within and we get to see her and explore right beside. THe illustrations are stunning and capture the brilliance and exuberance of life by the ocean. There are resources included such as fact sheets.

This book is about a girl who explores different types of sea animals.
I really liked this book and I thought that the illustrations made it appealing to children and it would be good to have in the classroom for students to learn more about animals that live in the ocean.
