It's been a while, book-boyfriends shelf, since I had to introduce someone new to you. Meet Caleb Blackstone, a member of the wealthy elite; he's handsome and he can charm the pants of every woman he meets, but he only wants one. Too darn bad it isn't me. He's an heir to the massively wealthy Blackstone family, an entrepreneur, and his life is completely thrown off course when Brooke Casterley comes into his line of sight. A commoner in terms of money, Brooke is a junior interior designer with a heart of pure gold and a desperate love for the island she calls home. Her past, a dark heavy weight on her shoulders, can't stop her from recognizing lust and more in Caleb and despite how ugly it show more is, it doesn't keep Caleb away. As opposite as they come, Caleb and Brooke take a chance with one another, finding their differences aren't as vast as they once thought.

Brooke and I were inevitable.
Inevitable.

Consider me in love. Between the beautiful writing, the weaving story line, and intriguing characters, I have fallen head over heels in love with Filthy Rich. Raine Miller brings to life the tourist-y Blackstone Island, the busy streets of the mainland, the palpable chemistry shared between the city boy and country girl, and the emotional highs and lows that come with facing a past that haunts you and a future you never dreamed possible. I loved the characters, both Caleb and Brooke were unique characters, and though it would have been easy to let them fall into the cliche roles of justthe alpha business man and just the broken girl, Raine Miller created both as strong, humble individuals who grew vastly through out the novel. Their connection is immediate, their changes gradual as they found there was so much more between them than lustful glances. Both are courageous and stubborn, and emotionally hurt in ways that have closed them off to romance, but together they peel back the hurt, the assumptions about wealth, and find sweet, sweet romance.

Something had just happened to me. I wasn't completely sure what exactly, but I was crystal clear on the reason. Her.

I adored the setting, the secondary characters, the backstory we learn about the Blackstones, and how history comes back to repeat itself. While the romance is simple, it's the kind that makes you smile, that warms your soul, that's a bit hot and smutty, and has you turning the pages just that much slower in order to savor every word. I love that every Raine Miller story has so much more to it than what initially meets the eye and I've once again found complete reading happiness in a novel. Filthy Rich was fascinating, a true treat, and one I'd recommend across to the board to all my reading friends.

Hadn't known I was missing anything. Hadn't known it was possible for someone to steal your heart without even knowing they'd done it. Hadn't known I needed her.

Caleb Blackstone is filthy rich with immense wealth, charm, success and nothing short of gorgeous. Caleb grew up with a prestigious education around wealthy circles of families. With only losing his father the previous year, he begins to question everything - money, women, elite snobs, and what his life should become.
Brooke Casterley has had nothing but one tragedy after another. After the death of her parents when she was just 15 years old, she was sent to America from England. Thrown into a different country, she found her home with her grandmother on Blackstone Island, outside of Boston. Brooke was raised much differently than Caleb and with much less. Their lives never touched, but have connections that neither saw coming.
From the show more moment Caleb lays his eyes on Brooke outside of a coffee shop, something ignites in him that catches him by surprise. His whole world begins to change and nothing is quite like it seems. After a few encounters, neither of them can deny their physical attraction and chemistry towards each other. Brooke never wanted a relationship and she was sure that she could not possibly be ready to get involved. Caleb never thought he would fall in love. Is it fate? Can their two worlds come together or will another tragedy strike? Can Caleb be the man that Brooke needs? Can Brooke allow her heart to feel?
There is no way that you could read Filthy Rich and not want to fall in love with Caleb. His sweet gestures, dedication, passion and desire was quite delectable. His character was brought to life by Raine Miller. As the story unfolded before my very hands, I felt as though I wanted to know these characters. And THAT, my dear followers is what a great author can do! Raine Miller hit a grand slam with this opening book to the Blackstone Dynasty series.
Caleb and Brooke's story is raw and genuine. Their journey to self discovery was enlightening. Coming from two different worlds brought many obstacles and neither backed down. Jealousy fired by someone of the past and truth was discovered in the end that left my jaw on the floor for a few moments with an ache to read the next installment of this series which is due to release 2017.
Bravo to Raine Miller for writing such a clever, hot romance with many twists that leave you craving more. Filthy Rich is more than just the next "romance novel." She has added so many layers that I predict will be a fantastic series that can not be put down!
I highly recommend getting this gem and adding it to your reading list. It can easily be read in just a few hours as I am sure it's not just me that would find it difficult to bookmark this story with the desire and "need to know" itch to get to the next page.

I bought this book with my Kindle Unlimited.

This was the first book by Raine Miller I've had the pleasure to read, and it certainly won't be the last.
Caleb Blackstone has a great life, full of wealth and women. But recently he just seem's to be stuck in a rut and his life has some thing.missing. Until one day he notices an attractive young women, Brooke, and he's captivated. When they meet, Brooke makes him see and treat things completely differently. Brooke is a little hesitant about starting a new relationship not surprising after her past is revealed, but Caleb is very patient.
I really enjoyed this sweet love story. The writing is emotional, fun, very romantic and hot. I can't wait for more from the Blackstone Dynasty. I loved it!
4.5 stars

I was expecting something with a tortured and jaded hero when I started this story. That is not at all what I got. Instead, I got a true gentleman in every way. I like watching this epic love story pan out between Caleb and Brooke.

I cannot wait to see if the others in their own stories.
Love Raine Miller's books. They pull you in and are romantic/hot! This is a great continuation to the Blackstone affair books. I have never been disappointed by any of this author's books!
Looking forward to more Blackstones.
