Petit is a boy who is sometimes such a good child and at other times not so good. He is so nice to his grandfather but he shoots rocks at pigeons. He is good at taking care of his toys but not good at sharing them. Petit is confused with how he can be such a good boy but do such bad things. I would not share this book for an academic activity but I would share it with a young class to help them practice social skills. Sometimes children do not understand what is socially appropriate or not socially appropriate and I think with the right guidance during a read aloud students could learn this from this book.
Conflicted Petit ponders the troubling paradoxes of human behavior. Whimsical and wise.
Petit is a little boy who doesn’t quite understand if he is a good boy or a bad boy, and he thinks about the good and bad things he does trying to figure himself out. This is a cute story for kids who do cause more trouble than others to show that they are not bad children, because they might constantly here that and act on that rather than decide what kind of person they would like to be.
A cute story about a little boy who is trying to figure out what makes him good when he is good and bad when he is bad. Like most little boys, Petit has a mischievous side that can get him into trouble but also a very loving side.
This inspirational story is about a little boy not knowing if he's good or bad. He feels like he is a little bit of both but don't understand how that could be. I believe this book explains to kids that sometimes you can be good and sometimes you can be bad, but you should never feel like your the worst person ever. Sometimes, it is ok to make mistakes.
