He wrote under about 65 pseudonyms including Gregory Kern, Carl Maddox, Alan Guthrie, Eric Storm and George Holt during his 60 years as a freelance writer. He mainly wrote science fiction novels including Moon Base, Alien Dust, The Space-Born, Death Is a Dream, and the series The Dumarest Saga or show more Dumarest of Terra in the United States.
