Description

Hope and faith are candles that burn in the soul, in even the darkest cave - including the prison cell. This book explores the prayers and practices of Northern Tradition Paganism, in a version written specifically for prisoners. Each prayer and ritual can be done alone in a cell if necessary, with only pencil and paper, or not even that. Many practitioners both on the inside and outside contributed their words to this book, sharing their joys, their faith, and their anchor in the storm. May show more the Gods be hailed, even in behind chains and bars, and may their worshipers be blessed! show less

RossHartyGothi Northern Tradition and Thursatru both ivolve the Jotuns, etins, trolls or Thuses. These religions are growing, but at the moment, shared information can be valuable to piece things together even if the two religions are distinct from each other.

WaylandsWings The pantheon overlaps to some extent. These books do have a different focus, one is based on 1980's Folkish Asatru, the other on solitary Inclusive/Universalist Nordic Paganism.
WaylandsWings Candles in the cave is a popular book for inmates who are into Northern Tradition Paganism. Inside the fence is for more general Chaplaincy. I include this as pagan resources for prison ministry can be hard to find.
