This book showed a lot more courage for a children's book than I would have expected, and I respect that. Definitely one that I would show not only to my own students but potentially to other teachers because this is the way to present hard topics that are very important for children to understand in a way that they will appreciate and comprehend.
This book features a very important topic explained in a clear and simple way to children. It is a great resource to start a unit of study, open discussion, and promote critical thinking. Highly informative, colorful, and engaging. It is a must have in a classroom library. This book is appropriate for young children.
