Holy Hell! What can I say about Donovan Kincaid? He's arrogant. He's controlling. He's obsessive, overbearing and frustrating. And I love him!! While some might say manipulating the life of the one you want so that the game ends the way you want it to, isn't love. But for Donovan, that's exactly what it is. And he pulls it off exceptionally well.

I loved this couple. He loves her the only way he knows how. She loves him despite all of this.The heat created between these two is incinerating! I was thankful I was reading on my Kindle because I believe the paperback would have been too hot to hold!

Donovan Kincaid has it all. Except her. He's loved her from afar for so long. He's done everything he can to protect her, give her everything she show more needs, all without her knowing. He's kept anyone who might do her harm far away from her. Including himself. He's back and he's done running from her.

Sabrina Lind knows his secret now. He loves her. She's determined to solve the puzzle that is Donovan Kincaid and figure out why he's done the things he's done, both to her and for her. More than that, she needs to know if the love she feels for him, and that he feels for her is real. It's twisted and raw and complicated. It's not like any love she's ever known. It's unique to them, and them alone. But is it too much?

Can he learn to fully give his heart? Can they find a middle ground? Will a ghost from her past destroy them forever?

While I liked this book, it lost some of the intensity and dynamic that drew me in. That being said, this was still a great duet and I LOVED Donovan.

This is a sizzling hot conclusion to Donovan and Sabrina's story, what a fantastic roller-coaster ride. The story couldn't be more entertaining and steamy. I certainly recommend this duet to anyone who likes this tyoe of stories.

Again, I expected more. Disappointing to be sure. I would have enjoyed the book more had the author stuck with original personal characteristics from the first book.
