Description

This general study of the Templars, written in German, combines a history of the Order and their participation in each crusade with an analysis of the legends that surround them. Based on documentary evidence, Hauf's study also examines the role of the Templars in the military and political affairs of different countries, including Palestine and Scotland, and discusses whether any remnants of the Order survived its termination.
