Enchanted Afternoon

A reasonably good story, but could have completed the gist in a few less pages. I do appreciate the struggle of the wife in a time that manipulative men had not just some power, but all the power.

Helena is born rich as a senator's daughter and Michael is a poor lad when they first met in Halfway To Heaven. Ironically, Helena is illiterate and Michael is a professor. Only their love and trust can heal their broken hearts and make a bright future together.

In a bunch of paper ephemera I was given I found a few pages from this book. I think I want to read the whole thing now. The few pages were rather iintriguing.
