your name., Volume 1: A Story Of Two People Determined To Hold On To One Another.

I’ve actually never seen the anime before so this was all a surprise to me. I really liked this though, the concept is fun and the thing with the comet sounds interesting. It’s just good to read something lighthearted sometimes.

I promised myself just last week to stop reading manga adaptations and here I've stumbled into another. Apparently this was a movie first? And it might make more sense if you saw the movie?

There were some elements to like in this body-switching tale, but the adaptation did not have a smooth flow. The opening chapters were just too confusing and jumbled to follow and left me out of sync with the rest of the book.

Enjoyable manga, though I did enjoy the anime more. I think part of that was purely because I watched the anime first, and so the manga didn't have the same surprise of discovery that the anime did. On the other hand, I also enjoyed seeing the things that I missed when watching the anime because I know the spoilers this time around.

I haven't finished the movie yet but I liked the book. It was cute and funny.
