Sabrina White leaves her wedding after waiting for a long time for the groom to show up. It seems Adam, her fiancé and groom-to-be, is more concerned about his job than her and she realizes she can't go through with this wedding. So she tells her best friend Meg she's leaving and goes out a back door, still in her wedding gown. Sabrina decides to drive to the Sierra Mountains. She remembers having good times there and she needs a few days to herself to think things through.
Along the way it snows and her car gets stuck in a ditch. She is freezing and she still has her wedding gown on. She walks towards a house and knocks on the door. The door opens and she sees seven children and a very handsome man before she collapses and faints from show more the cold. The children mistake her for Snow White (their favorite story). When she comes to, she meets Zach Prescott. He is looking after his sister's seven foster children while she is away on a mini-vacation and he invites Sabrina to stay until her car is repaired. She has fun with the children playing in the snow and finds herself attracted to Zach. But when she leaves little does she know she will be seeing Zach again, so soon.
This was an enjoyable and cute story. The characters were very likable. I really liked the San Francisco setting towards the end of the book. A quick and pleasant read. show less
