Enchanting book filled with lots of wisdom and humor combined with facts about Botswana and showcased around a fantastic large African woman determined to be a detective, who survived a vicious abusive first marriage, and is determined to make her own way/ and name in her world. She has deep ties to family and community, respect for tradition, is clever, and one of the best heroines I've ever read.
