2446 The Life of Hilaire Belloc, by Robert Speaight (read 14 May 1992) I found this good reading, though I don't know how many people still pay attention to Belloc. He is an appealing character and this book lists his published works--well over 100. One could never read them all and some may not be worth reading. His attitude toward the Jews is unpalatable, and his history is devoid of scholarly apparatus. But I found this biography well worth reading.
