This allows additional conclusions about what the people valued, what their sense of style was, how they felt about one another, where and how they lived, and from what they suffered and died. We can even deduce something of their beliefs. By examining their settlement patterns, funerary practices, material cultures, myths of origin, and their Christianization, this book presents a complementary picture of their individual characteristics.
