Fun classic SF by the great John W. Campbell. This book is better then it deserves to be. It is proof the Campbell could write along with being the best editor of the SF pulp magazines. It is better then the first of adventure with these characters. It was titled "Black Star Passes" and was only a 3 star book.

If you like classic Space Opera this is pretty good. Hardy Boys, with advanced physics degrees, in space. It's guys on a road trip. Lots of adolescent tech and adventure. Sure it's dated but it was written for 1950s teenage boys. Exploration and danger on distant planets. What more could you ask for?
