A very abused book I've had for more than 20 years and 10 moves. Sort of an "answer" to The Female Man by Joanna Russ, it is concerned at a thematic level with separatist feminism (set in a far future and alien races but the general theme is pretty easy to see). It speaks of what each gender might miss by excluding the other from full participation in the society. ( )
