It was great to finally read Cassie's and Dog's story. For saving her half sister she agrees to sleep with Dog, both of them believing they can avoid mating. They are so wrong. Dog's determined to keep her and she's freaking out. With almost all Breeds believing he's a Council war dog Cassie loses support and access within the Breeds. We learn Dog's history, who Cassie's fairy really is and many more questions are answered. Most of the major Breed couples make an appearance as well as some of the single Breeds we've hoped would find their mate. I like this series, I like the Breeds but I hope sometime soon the Council can be put down and other plot lines for the Breeds can emerge.
Finally Cassie's story. Thoroughly enjoyed. No spoilers, but if you've been reading the series you'll enjoy.
