ARC Review: The House Mate (Roommates) by Kendall Ryan

Ms. Ryan knows how to set off steam and she proves that with her Roommates series. The House Mate raises the temperature level to HOT. A single dad devoted to his daughter, yet clueless in the love department. What's more sexy than that? Kendall Ryan sweetened the pot with a dose of family but stayed true to the sex appeal readers have come to know and love. Full of heat with a touch of sweet equals out to a combo that's hard to beat.
The House Mate is the newest addition to the Roommates series. As always it was a pleasure to read a book by Kendall Ryan. I must admit that I had a couple of hang ups when I was reading the book, but overall it was a good experience. I would have liked to see Max spending more time with his daughter. Another of my hang up is the time Addison had spent working for Max before their relationship began. I would have liked seeing her work for more time for him before anything happened, instead of having the usual insta love/lust.

All the books in the series have a good flow and are easy to read. I enjoyed the book even I felt as I finished it too fast. I am still waiting for a connection between the books. The books are way too stand alone show more for my liking. So far each book has a unique set of characters and zero connections.

One thing that might not be to everyone's liking is the fact that Max was about to engage in sexual intercourse with another woman the night he got Dylan. If you are ok with that then you are set to read the book and enjoy the ride.
