I enjoyed this installment of the story more than volume one. Even though I've seen the anime, and so the "find the girl" and "solve the mystery" plot points held no surprises for me, I enjoyed the journey this time better in some ways than I did in the anime. This one was a lot more serious the volume one, so perhaps that's what I liked better about it? The art style is the same as in the first volume and the anime, so if you liked the look of either of those, you'll like this one too.

(Spoilers btw)This book just took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. Going from wow, she died… to oh wow she died three years ago, and then to, wow, we’re changing history??? I don’t know what to expect but I do know I love these short reads.
