Fun book, especially if you go into it with your tongue firmly in cheek. Not to be taken seriously, just a good romp. I've been waiting impatiently for the sequel, but it's been many years since the original publication.
Terribly disappointing after having read Emergence. This book is a one-trick pony, and that trick gets old after about page 30.
