In Mackenzie's Magic, Maris wakes up in a hotel bed with a stranger, and apparently has stolen a horse - one that puts her in danger, if she or the horse is found. And only this mysterious stranger can help her. In Silver Bells, Carrie and her apartment house of odd, but friendly folks is not what Philip had in mind for Christmas with his teen daughter. But Mackenzie bonds with Carrie, and tries to play matchmaker with Carrie and her Dad, accompanied by all the apartment house eccentrics. In The Wild West, Wyatt broke Cilla's heart 10 years ago. And she is determined that she's over him, and will never let him break her heart again. But her heart isn't listening. ( )

Mackenzie Magic: Maris (the baby and only girl of the Mackenzie clan, horse trainer extrordinaire) meets Nick (FBI, sly but lovable). She steals a horse, bumps her head and it's all goofy from there. The story isn't anywhere near as fun or entertaining as the previous three. ( )

this is the last in the mackenzie series; not my favorite by far. found it a bit boring actually. ( )
