It is a really fun book for k-3rd grade. You could read it while studying mammals. It would also be fun to pole the class about the color, length, and style of the classes hair.
This book talks about different types of hair on animals and people. It mentions that there is curly hair, striped hair, braided hair, eyebrows, wigs, dark hair, long hair, etc. It also reminds kids to enjoy the hair that they have because some have none.
This book gets a little... hairy.

I'll see myself out.

One of the books from my childhood I decided to give a go while organizing my bookshelves.
