I love how this author weaves a story. It is seamless in the way that I can skip into the mindset of the main characters and see the story unfold as if I'm in the moment. I know nothing about hockey but I have a new appreciation for it.
Andre and Zoe. These two cracked me up. The tension and anticipation was palpable. I look forward to the next story.

This was the first book I've read by Maria Luis and it grabbed me right from the start. I love hockey romance and this one doesn't disappoint. Andre and Zoe were close friends until one night of passion all but ruined both their careers. Now they're back together, and need to work together to salvage both their careers. The instant they are reunited, sparks fly. The chemistry between the two is smoking hot, the dialogue witty, and the emotions palpable. This book has everything and I just couldn't put it down till I was finished. Maria Luis has just become one of my must-read authors.
