I am so intensely grateful that My Lit Box included this book of poetry in June's box (which showed up way early! Before June!). I think I read nearly every poem in this collection at least once, sometimes more than that, because it was so beautiful. Gibson has a gift of gorgeous prose and imagery. It's just stunning.

These are poems of healing. These poems are uplifting and supportive, and affirmational of self. Partway through the book, I immediately went online and sent a copy to a friend who I knew needed it.

This is one of the best collections of poetry I've ever read. Even now after finishing it, I open it up randomly and whatever page I land on, I sigh because the poem's imagery is that beautiful, and/or it perfectly encapsulates a show more concept in a few lines. show less
