Honesty time here. I was very afraid to read this book and I was stalling because I thought Cooper was going to be a very bitter man for a large part of the book. As it turned out, I loved it from fee first chapter when I realised that I wouldn't have to read about his manwhoring ways. All that is behind him. He meets Corrine and that's it for him. He is solely focused on her and how to win her over. I loved that man. Cooper wasn't the man I was afraid he would be. He was the sweet kind man I believed he was. I simply loved the book. Corinne is a troubled woman who is dealing very well with all the things life threw at her. I would have liked to see her and Cooper interacting more with Aaron because to me he was mostly a name and not an show more actual character. Both of them developed nicely, mostly Cooper. I could go on and on about him, but I won't waste your time saying how amazing he was. He is book boyfriend material and I want you to find that out yourselves. The third book was a big improvement from the first two. A big reason I am excited when I think of this book is that. The story for me had a better construction and it was more on point about the couple. Great book, go read it! show less

This is book three in the Forbidden Desires Series, but BIG but, you do not have to read books one and two to pick up. The first two books are Gavin’s story, and it tells of Cooper’s immense heartbreak, which leads us to where book three picks up in Florida.

Cooper is mending his broken heart tearing through women and alcohol like nothing. Trying to forget the woman that he loved and left him for his brother. When he gets the call that he needs to return to work at the family escort business or he is getting cut off, it is time to pull up the big boy pants and face the real world.

Corrine is on her last hope and this job is what she needs to make ends meet and save the only people that she has ever loved in her life. Her big secret show more must be kept while she is working and trying not to fall for her new boss who is very bossy and demanding. On day one, he propositions her for a no-strings-attached relationship and she pretty much cannot refuse him.

When the truth comes out, hearts break, the strings are broken, and Cooper and Corrine must face their true feelings for each other.

I honestly have not read a Kendall Ryan book yet that I haven’t LOVED every page. This one is right up there. 5 solid stars. show less
