Trading Yesterday (Trading Yesterday, #1)

Another emotional heartbreaking beautiful story by Kahlen Aymes, you will find yourself falling for Chase without even thinking, the love within Chase, Teagen and Jensen is one that will wrap around your heart and never let go until the end. This story was a hard one to read for me as a life of a child is threatened, but I can only say the author did a formidable way to write the story in a way that is just perfect. It is a story that will be in your mind and all I can say is please read it, words won't do it justice.

This is a second chance romance with a secret baby story.
It is quite angsty.
The reasons for not telling the father until a later time are always a tricky one to handle I think. The reasons Teagan didn't tell Chase trickle through the story, it takes some time to hear it all. I think considering her age and the pressure she was under plus the misunderstandings made it reasonable for her to make certain decisions. I struggled more with the actions of the best friend.
It is well written and a times quite emotional, there is a very sick child so that plays on the heart strings but also the scenes between Chase and Teagan are quite emotional and certain things can't be undone. There is also a jealous ex or not so quite ex when the story show more begins.
There is an issue of cheating, although this is written to make it acceptable, to me they both cheated. show less

My heart nearly stopped beating from this book. As a mother, my heart ached. I cannot even imagine.

The reasons for the break up seemed a bit extreme to keep a secret to the length that the story de,and end. Great characters. Looking forward to Jensen's story.
