If you are looking for a great book to teach children all about the library then “L” is for Library is the one. A charming tabby cat is the guide that leads the children around the library on an A to Z alphabet tour. While on the tour the children get to see what a community library holds. The children see lots of great books and information areas, historical figures, as well as other interesting stuff, such as “C is for the Caldecott awarded for art that pleases the eyes.” and “Q is for quiet, the best volume for a library voice.” A touch of humor has been added to make this book so captivating that it mimics what a visit to your local library would be like. The illustrations depict a warm and inviting library with many show more things to learn and see. The pictures also mirror the diversity of the world we live in.This is a book that everyone would fall in love with, no matter how many times you read it. Come and check out this book and see all the wonders a library has inside. Review by Erin, Three Rivers Public Library. show less
Cute alphabet book about things in the library. I like how the tabby cat is found on each page. Enjoyed the illustrations as well!
A wonderful Alphabet book that gives valuable information about all the parts of a library. The pages are colorful and inviting.
Good picture book to introduce older children to the different types of materials in the library and how a library is organized.
A lovely teaching tool about the basic library functions and areas!
