Dinosaurs (Pictureback)

This story discusses the early history of dinosaurs, when they originated, and what types of dinosaurs there were. it begins with introducing the history of fossils and what types of fossils came from certain types of dinosaurs. The book presented different pictures between allosaurus footprint pictures and leaf fossil pictures. It then begins to go into the ancestry of dinosaurs and which ones originated before others. I think this is a good story children between the ages of 6-11 because not only does it have efficient information on the pages, but it incorporates helpful pictures for students who may not know much about them.

This book begins with an explanation about fossils and dinosaur research, and then gives short explanations about a variety of different dinosaurs.
