Kristy's mother has had to move up her wedding date, so that there is now only a few weeks left to plan. Furthermore, many family members and friends are coming from out-of-town to help the happy couple prep for the big day. And all those families means lots more little kids for Kristy and the rest of the Baby-sitters Club to babysit!
As usual, the girls in the BSC show responsibility and forethought, continuing to be good role models for young kids reading this series. But nothing ever comes across as didactic or preachy; instead these books are quick reads to see what will happen next.
Gale Galligan's illustrations are fun and expressive. They are similar to the Raina Telegemeier's ones that started this graphic novel series, but show more Galligan mixes it up a bit, particularly with the bigger emotional reactions for the characters. There's still only a limited number of characters who are any race other than white, but there are at least some attempts at diversity.
Another great read and I'm already looking forward to the next one whenever it comes out! show less

I again really love diving back into this series thought this graphic media, I loved the twist in this that focus on kristy mom wedding and so many kids. It was just a fun read and one that i tackled in such a short amount of time. I really loved how this book focused on friendship and just summer fun. I really also enjoy the art style and am so excited to keep reading!
A fun and charming graphic novel that brings the classic Baby-Sitters Club story to life with humor and heart — perfect for reluctant readers and fans of comics alike.
{My thoughts} – This is a very special book. It is all centered around the preparation and an actual wedding. Over the course of many of the books we have been getting bits and pieces about the wedding that was to take place between Kristy’s mom and her fiance Watson. This book helps to tie all that together.
I really enjoyed reading the books. The illustrations made the actual wedding appear to be rather magical. I’m not sure I could have imagined it to be any better then it was within the pages of this book. It was truly well done.
I liked how Kristy and the rest of the Baby-Sitters Club had come together to help everyone by watching all of the children. I like that everyone pitched in and did their part to help make things easier show more for Kristy’s mom and Watson on their big day. Most of all I like that Kristy came around to the idea of the wedding and the blending of their family with Watsons.
I look forward to reading the next book when it comes out in the series. In the meantime, I will have to pass time reading the numerous other graphic novels in my TBR list! show less

I like Galligan's second entry in this series much better than her first adaptation. It probably helps that the source material is much stronger, with a big wedding and a focus on the club founder.
I have enjoyed all of the babysitters' club books (both new and the orginal). The art work in this graphic novel is so bright and colorful. I got this book after getting the other new books for my students. They loved all of the books they have read so far and so do I. The stories of the friendships between the girls are wonderful. This book focuses on an upcoming wedding and the blending of 2 families. Kristy gets to be a bridesmaid in her mom’s wedding. Also, the girls plan and organized babysitting for a large number of children. I hope there will be more graphic novels made based on the original Babysitters Club books!
