Starts with the question of questions: Who is Jesus? Sections follow on the personality of Jesus, the psychology of Jesus, and the practice of Jesus. Each presents Jesus as the "Model for a whole life--the source of the identity, integrity, and independence we have so desperately been seeking."

I found the chapter on Jesus' Disciplines not only correct but challenging. I plan to use McKenna's short exegesis of what I call "the Model Prayer" (Our Father...) in one of my Bible study classes.
