Description

Three delightful angels come down to earth--just in time for Christmas!

Shirley, Goodness and Mercy: three well-intentioned angels who are occasionally allowed to intervene (or--perhaps more accurately--interfere!) in human affairs. Despite their frequent misadventures, despite the chaos they often cause, things always seem to turn out right.

Their latest prayer request comes from the Seattle area. Anne Fletcher sees her son, Roy, becoming a bitter, career-obsessed man. She prays for a show more special woman to be sent into Roy's life, a woman who'll show him what really matters.

The angels swoop down and find a way to throw Julie Wilcoff in his path--literally! From that moment on, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy shall follow them...whispering suggestions, arranging encounters, hoping for the best.

Easy read but a bit disappointing at how cruel that Roy could be on continuing to believe that Julie wanted the money so much for the bike accident created by the Angels. Enjoyed the Angels trying to intervene with their humorous ways and not letting the boss angel Gabriel know. Julie's father surprised me on how much he supported the relationship when he admitted his boss was a hard man. Impressed with the mother on how she was determined to make a new life on her own as an artist.
Shirley, Goodness and Mercy are three well-intentioned angels who occasionally interfere with people's lives to help them, sometimes this goes slightly wrong. Right now they are working on answering Anne Fletcher's prayers that her son Roy would become more human and find some love in his life. They throw Julie Wilcoff in his way and he has to face up to his feelings. It's interesting but it just wasn't quite my thing.
Nice light Christmas reading for a break while baking cookies or addressing Christmas cards.
This series fell into my lap. what a great series though for those who believe and maybe don't believe in angels.
