The second in the prequel Star Trek series, which briefly features a brash young James Kirk as he inadvertently lands Leonard McCoy in trouble, and forced to sacrifice his winter break to joining Spock as a Disaster Service volunteer. Fairly typical adventure follows, but the beginning of the legendary diatribes between McCoy and Spock is rewarding.
