Esta colección de cuentos nos acerca de nuevo al mundo de Cortázar, a ese juego que es un refugio de sensibilidad e imaginación, que nos ayuda a escapar de la inseguridad y del absurdo de este mundo, como asegura Mario Vargas Llosa. ( )

Hay que leer a Cortázar. Siempre. Sus cuentos son la pintura genial del sueño de seres improbables, llenos de ternura, ausentes, mágicos. Es la síntesis mejor de su literatura, a la que nos acerca el prólogo de Mario Vargas Llosa, y es también la oportunidad de aproximarse a su capacidad para crear con las palabras una atmósfera que se parece a un viaje interminable en el que él nos conduce con su mano maestra.
