After perusing this book, it seems to be a very easy read with interesting information about Abraham Lincoln. Albert Marrin is the chairman of the history department at Yeshiva University in New York City and has written highly acclaimed nonfiction books for young people. He has received the Children's Book Guild and Washington Post Non-Fiction Award for an "outstanding lifetime contribution that has enriched the field of children's literature." This book includes pictures with descriptions and provides the sources from which the information came as well as an index and further reading on Abraham Lincoln.
