Second book of the Haldeman Worlds trilogy. I liked this one better then the first. It follows two paths. One is the the man who stayed on the destroyed Earth who tries to save/revive civilization. The other follows the space station city that also tries to work with the remains of Earth and mankind. After reading the first two books I decided not to pursue the third.
