This is a good overview guide. It has each section described briefly with a few photographs and illustrations to show what it is. It is not very comprehensive and is just to get a general idea of the collection.

I love the AMNH, but have yet to visit it. I bought this from amazon.com for research, and out of interest. I hope to go there soon.
